Thai Food

A gourmet's paradise, as Thailand is now called.  Which, in the pots and on the tables holds a formidable secret: being able to combine five fundamental flavours - spicy, sweet, sour, salty and a hint of bitterness.  Because they contrast and complement each other at the same time and add flavour and texture to every dish.  The result, as they say, is on everyone's lips.

Chef Somphit

Originally born and raised a short distance from Bangkok in Thailand at the birthplace of the traditional Pad Thai - Thailand’s national dish.

In 1986 and at the tender age of 21 Somphit moved to Italy.

Passionate and determined about food she quickly established herself as a consultant chef, caterer, event organiser and teacher, drawing on varied and extensive culinary knowledge and experience.

Experience

Since a very young age Somphit has spent many happy years in the kitchen with her sisters, mother and grandmother and many recipes have been passed down through generations of traditional family cooking.

2001 Opened her first restaurant in Thailand.

Although specialising in Thai and Italian food Somphit loves, and is a master of, all foods - From simple authentic, classic dishes to gourmet fusions of International flavours.

Healthy, Nutritious and Kind

'Healthy' and 'Nutritious' don’t require much of an explanation as Thai food has long been associated with a balanced and healthy diet but we also try to be as kind as possible to our beautiful and fragile planet too.

We use quality, fresh, locally sourced and sustainable ingredients and try to minimise our impact on the environment with the use of recyclable or biodegradable packaging whenever possible.

We passionately support small and local businesses and the welfare of all animals.

Award Winning Pad Thai

Thailand's national dish and a complete meal in one.

An outstanding harmony of flavours and ingredients all held together with a traditional, family sauce recipe that many have tried to copy ... only to have failed.

Our dish also receives high praise in Thailand itself and it is no surprise that the first time we entered it into an international cooking competition, here in Italy, that it ran away with a 1st Prize victory.
